I hope your week is off to a fabulous start! Today’s agenda includes doing some cardio, eating a bunch of protein, maybe taking a nap, doing my full body kettle bell workout for the second time! So pumped, it’s gonna be a good day. I feel totally motivated.
It’s been a continued obsession of mine recently to liven up my workout attire. Because for awhile now, it’s consisted of XL t-shirts (it’s a Texas/college/girl thing that I still don’t understand yet I LOVE) and Target leggings (never hating on Target though). I also had the same pair of Nike shoes for 2 years and they’re dirty and smell terrible. I know…so yuck and embarrassing.
So I made it a goal of mine to set out and find semi-affordable but also really cute workout clothes and shoes that I feel comfortable in but also that are flattering! Also, I wanted people to stop making fun of me for oversized t-shirts because they’re apparently only cool in Texas. *sigh*
Anyways, I’ve been pretty successful in finding some great options (blog post soon)! One training shoe in particular has me so excited that I thought I should share it with you.
Lately, you’ve seen these Nike shoes on my Instagram and a couple of blog posts (here & here). They’re so cute, practical for being as on-the-go as I am AND I can train in them! Nike shoes are great in general, but what I love about Shop Pink Ivy is that she customizes the shoes, makes them one of a kind, and adds a little personality to your workout attire.
This grey Nike Airmax Thea print goes with anything, which I love because on days that I decided to actually have a little bit of style in the gym, these shoes complete the look! Here I paired it with some neutral colors and my charcoal lemonade, of course. I’m seriously contemplating getting the white and black pair as well because I just gotta complete the collection, ya know?! Or maybe I’ll just go crazy and get all the colors. Gotta be prepared for every outfit, obviously.
Shop Pink Ivy doesn’t just sell blinged out Airmaxes, though. In fact she sells all styles of Nike training shoes: from running, to lifting, to errand running.
Here are a couple of her other styles:
And these are just a few of her many different colors and styles! I put a few Nike Free 5.0 options in the edit because I know that style is so popular lately.
SO many different options for so many different outfits!
I’m kinda turning into a fitness fashionista. So this is a warning for all of the activewear fashion posts that are to come. So excited!!!
Now, if only I could make my face stay as pretty as my clothes during my workout. Y’all I seriously look like a bright read, stringy haired, panting dog at the end of my workouts. Not pretty. At least my clothes look good though, and so do my feet thanks to my new fave shoes!!
